Like some famous YouTube reviewers, I thought these were kind of gimmicky and not necessary when I first saw them, but also like famous YouTube reviewers, I gave them a shot. "What the heck," I thought, "They're not THAT expensive."Getting them on was pretty tough going, but honestly, I like that. If they slid on easily, then logic holds that they'd slip off easily. I used alcohol to help get them on, and it did help. Once on, these do not move. At all. They make the brake levers feel meatier, but where you really feel the benefit is on the trail. The finger(s) you leave on your levers won't get jostled around so much, and I feel like my brake levers are now super-deluxe! They actually feel nice!Give them a shot. They are a really nice comfort addition to your MTB. Are they necessary? No. Will they make you faster? No. Will they get you a date with that person you've been eying at the MTB club meets? Probably not. But they do feel nice, they add some meatiness to the levers, and honestly, I will likely always get these for every new bike in the future. They're very solid, feel great, and so far, have made my riding a more pleasurable experience.

Bought these because of the Seth's Bike Hacks video on them. They are incredibly amazing. They literally feel like your handlebar grip but for your brakes. Haven't been riding with them yet, so I will update the review what I do.

THESE LITTLE BRAKE LEVER COVERS ARE AMAZING.you'd never think.lost license at 26 and learned the benefits of riding a bicycle. Gloves, scrapes, nicks, blood... took till i was 42 to find these? most comfortable thing on your bike should be your seat.... not mine. it rolls at 30 mph so stopping is important.these were a cinch to install... eyed them up, snipped the excess, filled with 92% alcohol and wiggled them on.WOW! WHAT A SEVERE DIFFERENCE A LITTLE COMFORT MAKES!thank you!

this makes a huge difference in one finger grip power when pulling levers for braking. Originally had these on some Tecktro brake levers and I loved them enough to remove them and put them on my new bike. I will say that you can cut these to size but consider the fact that if you cut them you may not move them from bike to bike, or be sure to not over cut and grips either. In short, I think most bikes should just come stock with these on them, even with gloves they make your grip stance that much more secure. You won't regret getting a pair of these. Happy Trails!

I love these. Some of my brake levers seem like they could cut my finger off. These give me peace of mind. When it’s cold they’re much more comfortable than bare metal, and they don’t interfere with brake function or feel.They’re a little finicky to put on, rubbing alcohol helps.

Great little product. Just installed them about 5 minutes ago and felt great. Check Seth’s Bikes Hacks youtube video for a little review. Easiest install in about 3 minutes when using hair spray. It will evaporate after a few minutes.

I have two similar bikes now. One is my regular bike.The second bike I call it the "twin". It is same model Giant hardtail.I ride paved trails near my home in Orlando, and the original bikes levers coating was disintegrating from the sun and heat. Very happy for this easy fix.

These are so neat. It’s like, you didn’t realize you needed it until you have it. Just adds comfort, and prevents your fingers from slipping on wet or muddy conditions.
