Green Hill Tea Jiaogulan Loose Leaf Tea - Caffeine-Free Ginseng Variety - Pure Gynostemma Herbal Tea – Non GMO (Loose Tea 8 OZ)

Per the label, its Jiaogulan Tea Gynostemma pentaphyllum 100%Under questions asked, someone said the tea they have is not Gynostemma pentaphyllum 100% as described. (maybe its not from this seller??)See my pic, it is, as described including date stamped !!Also, some have worried about having to rinse it, notice the seller states, "Pure gynostemma , Mountain wildly grown, Non GMO , No additive" Well, I do not live in the city, I live in the 'sticks' and I can tell you any fruit, veg, tree, grain, or leaf in the 'wild' will at some time have something crawl across it, fly above it, and sometimes take a bite of it. Lets not forget about windy days when nature blows up dust and dirt upon it as well.So, those of you not familiar with wildly grown, organic grown, and any other 'healthy' term that says this is not grown in a controlled chemically balanced environment (? greenhouse?), that means that nature has had its way with it before it has gotten to you. No matter what it is or where you bought it from.What I have gotten from this seller is as described. I have been enjoying it for 3 months.Also, I do enjoy a good cup of tea, and this, for me makes a good cup of tea. So if your nervous having to choose to rinse the nature off before you make your cup of tea, its your choice knowing this is wild, whole leaf, apparently not chemically treated with cleaners, or processed other than dried, natural tea leaves.

The directions say to put it in boiling water first, almost to rinse it, for a few seconds, then put in boiling water for a longer period, to steep it. I'm not sure what the first boiling water bath is for, but it worried me a little. This tea is not as good as the small canister of the same tea I bought at my local Asian Food market, it's not as sweet. The tea I bought locally had a distinct sweet, almost an anise flavor to it. This one does not have that, it is more like green tea flavor, without the sweetness. I am ordering the tubers to grow it myself, you can get them from Michigan Bulb Co. I ordered the seeds but it looks like they are not going to arrive anytime soon. I'm not very happy with this tea, honestly.

Beautiful tea with great flavor..Please watch your subscription if you are a prime member. I've had this on my subscribe and save list. It arrived at first then it kept showing as in available. The catch was that it was still available thru regular purchase at full price without the subscription discount. This is not the only product that this has occurred with. Amazon can not seem to figure out what to do about the issue other than offer some money to try and even things out when you purchase it at regular price for a single purchase. That said; This is a great product!

This is my second time I have ordered this tea. I like this tea for the value, the taste, no stems, easy to make my own tea bags. I cut the top of the bag 4 inches down then store all of the tea in a glass mason jar. I use the remainder left for use with making tea. I purchase loose tea filters, use a heaping teaspoon to fill the filters and store in the bag. When the tea runs low in the bag I fill back up with the tea from the mason jar. Very good tea.

I just received it. I thought it was organic but I am very confused. This cannot return! Where is the tea came from? China? I went on their website wanted to research about the company, trying to look to read “ about us” page which most companies on websites have. But nothing. Lots of stuff from China contain bad chemical. I am now stuck with the experience unknown tea that I am not so comfortable to drink. How is that to your peace of mind.

I boiled some distilled water,sprinkled some of the tea buds in, they open upand start to sink to the bottom, I waited five minutes,drank, and went for a run..came back showered and still felt like I couldve workedout some more..Not to mention the next day, it does have a mile aphrodisiac effect,so now I mix it with green tea and ginseng root.....Its my new summer drink, sweeten it with raw honey and lemon and ice and the kidsdont know the difference.

I have tasted better leaves, these are not quite as flavorful or sweet ~ though really love that I could buy a pound, still seems like best deal. I would re-order.
