Still a happy customer with a brand new bike
**Update November 5 2018I thought it only fair to to let you all know I now have an updated ES31bike. I got it just yesterday. I was surpised it came so fast as I was expecting it to come from HK.I had problems dealing with the seller only as there was a language barrier which made it a stressful situation, but now Im happy with the outcome. I emailed them to say they had not offered me any advice until I prompted them but only sometimes they would respond to my questions. This resulted in a delay with me couriering my bike back. They paid for my courier, I did not know they would until I asked them. I think it may have been a team of customer reps I emailed as the tone in the emails were very different. I intend to leave my review as is as it is truthful, but now I am a very happy customer and still believe they deserve 5 stars. I guess there was just a hiccup with my bike which they'd not come across before. Not only did they exchange the bike but they also upgraded it. The only criticism of the new bike is that it doesn't use a key to turn it on. I think there would be more chance of theft without...***Update, Day 32I used this bike as I am disabled and loved it while it lasted...One month and one day after receiving it, I was riding it home quite late at night and the battery just stopped even though I know I it had been fully recharged and the green light on the charger was showing. Well, that was inconvenient as then I was by myself outside in the night and had to call a taxi to pick me up.I contacted the seller who said to recharge it, had she not read my email properly. Second letter in response to me, they would send me out a knew charger as they said this problem had happened a couple of times. I finally got my charger about 8 days later. I was quite amazed when my bike did start so off I went to an appointment only for it to stop after 200 meters. Being disabled< I had to drag it home behind me and was late for my appointment!!I got in touch with the seller again and requested they send me a new bike. My email back from the seller was for me to 'mail' my bike at my own expense to their warehouse for testing with address and phone number. Well I have no more information than that. I called the number 5 times but no answer and you cant leave a message. Ive asked for an email for the warehouse as I don't just want to send my bike over and for it to be lost. How I do that , I haven't figured out yet...The company did say if 'there was a problem' then they would give me a new bike or a refund. Not good for me who relied on it at at £450.00. It would have been cheaper for me to catch taxis for the month now the added expense and stress of having to get the bike to the warehouse!NOT good enough...very unhappy customer...PreviousI looked at so many electric scooters and bikes and read loads of reviews. I have trouble walking and didn't want to get a proper disability scooter. This one is 11kg which I consider quite light though for me is still a little on the heavy side as I have arthritis and scoliosis. (if you have read any of my other reviews, I always do loads of research into what I buy, even when it comes to glue. I really do need to get a life!) After months of umming, I took the plunge and bought this lil beauty! I actually wanted to purchase a different one all together but couldn't justify £1,500.00 which i don't have spare anyway.Like the other reviews say, be careful on take off, it does go fast...now day 2 of practising around the hood, I feel confident to go further afield. This is so much fun but also my new legs. I too am going to stick a couple of disabled stickers on the bike. I don't like labels but also don't want people to think I'm being selfish when I ride on the pavement. In 2 days, I have had more people stop to talk to me and ask about this bike. For me who has been feeling isolated this is a bonus and has put a smile on my face.I'm more than happy with my purchase, it arrived ahead of scheduled time fully charged. I didn't even need to read the instructions which were in English and to my suprise, this came with a set of Allen keys, a bike lock, mobile phone holder and small carry basket for the handlebars. I would have loved a different colour, but that is of no consequence to this amazing little bike. I'm going to add some lights and get an octopus rope to keep the legs together when the bike is standing as they can slowly roll apart...

For those with inability to walk very far.
This is a great item for someone who can only walk a little and then has to sit down. I have fused ankles and after changing the seat for a more comfy one, I can now go around exhibitions and garden centres and country fairs. The surface does have to be hard standing as on more sandy or stony paths the front wheel tends to spin. The three different speeds is very useful so that you start off slowly and can increase the speed in steps and the handbrake will stop you like a bike. It's foldable and fairly light. The only big problem at the moment is that Easyjet will not see this item as a mobility scooter and it has to go in the hold as an extra baggage instead of being taken on by handlers at the airplane. I have a blue badge disability badge and use the EasyJet disability service! I don't want to be pushed in a wheelchair and this keeps my independence.

Good build quality.
Very good quality electric bike at a very reasonable price from this seller. I have tried to get the extra year guarantee but I don’t know if I was successful as the manufacturers web site is pretty poor. The bike is easy to control but I don’t think it would be suitable for a very tall person. Overall as far as I’m concerned this is a good buy and I’m very happy with it.

Any place any time
Great for semi- disabled. You know , that walking stick that turns into seat. Well this one turns into a bike.

Just bought another ES30 which has many improvements on the old model
I have just bought another ES30. This wide wheel based machine has been upgraded so that it now has rear mudguards (but not back suspension). It also has a much more powerful motor. Hills are now climbed at a better pace. It also has a switch to regulate the amount of electricity being passed to the electric motor. This controls the speed and prevents "fierce starts" from a standing start if used correctly. Please see my remarks about the supplier which are important-the seller has given me their word that they are doing their best to improve customer service and they seem a company that keeps its word. I am not allowed to edit my remarks in the sellers info which were right at the time.As far as the model without mudguards is concerned Roz Chan's review about the same model couldn't be improved upon. Two points:I bought a a big bum saddle (takes two minutes to change)which makes a considerable difference to a comfortable ride and also a Pedalpro basket for the handlebars (both from Amazon -total cost less than £20).This is not a speed machine-care must be taken to travel at moderate speeds You must be prepared to stop at any time-pedestrians are not going to move!. The brake lever disconnects the drive as well as operating the brake and with practice can be used like a hand clutch on a motorbike.
