Dragonfly Products Mixed Variety Natural Dog Treat Packs for dogs: Pigs Ears, Buffalo Ears, Pizzles, Whitefish Jerky Bars (Power Chew Pack)

This is hard to write, as I can't say 100% that it was from these treats without a toxicology report, but I feel this is really important to share as I would not want this to happen to any one else's puppy and this was the only thing that I fed differently to my pup.I gave my 10 month old Jack Russell pup one of these chews- she ate it in a matter of minutes and she really wanted another. So, going against the guidelines, (and that's important to point out- they do only recommend one a day), I gave her another, thinking it would be fine.A few hours later that night, she threw up repeatedly... She was REALLY sick. And she had bad diarrhoea. By the morning she was really, really poorly. I took her to the vet, who told me she had severe acute gastroenteritis and she was put on a drip. The vet told me it was from something she'd eaten- again I want to point out that I can't be 100% sure it was these treats, but I fed her nothing else differently to what she normally has.She really deteriorated over the second night, was back in the vets the next day on a drip again and the vet was worried she wouldn't pull through.... LUCKILY 3 days later and she's back on her feet and back to her usual self, after a lot of worry and a 700 pound vet bill.This is obviously not a normal reaction, as I can tell from the rest of the glowing reviews, but I have to put this on here as I would never want anyone else to go through what the pup and I just went through. Definitely worth noting my pup does have a sensitive tummy and I should have only given her one treat- I just had no idea that this could happen from giving her 2. So this is just a word of warning to be careful with these treats- especially if your pup has a sensitive tum.Had to chuck the rest of the pack as no way on Earth I'd give any more to mine, and don't feel comfortable passing them on to anyone else.

I purchased the power chew pack, hoping it’s would keep our chewer busy for longer.He nailed every item in the pack within about 5mins (when given separately). Apart from the buffalo ears, that actually lasted a couple of days.But disappointed and I expected the other chews to last longer, especially for the price (£15 for approx 8 items)I gave a star for the buffalo ears, one for fast delivery and another for taste. As dog finished everything.Although I don’t think I’d purchase again, it is a decent variety pack for finding what your dog likes.

Wanted to treat my dogs to some natural treats. As they usually get pig ears now and then so I wanted to try other things. Went for this pack as it has a bit of everything and I can see what my dogs like. Haven't ate the rabbit ears yet, but the duck neck and gullet went down a treat! Now I know what to buy them, will definitely get some more. Very happy. They didn't have any issues eating them. As the pack says easy chew and it was. Doesn't keep them busy for long but nice to see them enjoying it

Natural, good quality stuff and a brand I can trust. One reviewer was confused/upset about the ears that have fur on. The furry ones are a great natural wormer and my pup loves them.

I have purchased the mixed variety pack on a regular basis, puppy enjoys the treats and has helped satisfy his need to chew when teething would recommend, Dragonfly recommend slow introduction and I would endorse this my puppy loves all of the treats in the pack and thoroughly enjoys his play time with his treats the fish skin bites are a favourite, good value for money and quality product no need for processed treats check out the full range Dragonfly offer

I do think the products are fantastic, just maybe not for a pup?...9 week puppy LOVES the 2 I've given him so far, (the longer ones) he literally mists over after a few minutes of chewing and is focused on nothing else! Completely feral afterwards! For a few moments ;) I have found they are going fibrous and just slipping Half way down his throat.I only give them to him supervised and actually feel he would probably choke if I didn’t take them off him half way through.When I take them away I must pull at least 3 inches out from down his neck.Interested to see what others are saying/doing with this. Maybe he’s too young?Will review again in a few weeks once bag is empty.

Dragonfly always make great quality products with no additives. I know that my dog is feasting on the best and most natural of products when I give him one of these, as a treat. This particular bag had a great selection and allowed him to try a few new products he had never had before. Great buy!
