Summer (in) the Psalms: A 40-Day Devotional Journal

I love (in)courage, I use the women's study Bible literally daily. But this fell short for me.Buy please be aware that daily it gives you a new passage in Psalms to look up in your own bible and asks you the EXACT same 3 questions daily. Each day your asked who is God and what did you learn of his character, and to pray and how you will be obedient. That's like the entire book day by day, same copied questions for every page.I'm just glad this book wasn't more than $8, I feel a little taken advantage of but I'm trying not to think that right now because ive at least gained experience now in reading Psalms....I only gave it 3 stars instead of 1 because I highly respect the (in)courage group.

I love this book, keeps me in the word and maybe a bit deeper than I would be on my own, thankful for this guide..

This may not be a life chaining experience, but if you go through with this 40 day devotional, you'll be a better person for it.

First, let me say that I am a huge fan of the (in)courage Community, and have been since it started. I purchased their devotional Bible and am loving going through the devotionals in it. This summer, they offered a (free) devotional series on the Psalms - 40 daily readings of a Psalm, plus an occasional devotional piggy-piggy-backed to it. I am SO enjoying this series! As I already have the devotional Bible, all I needed was the free printable of the readings, but I had to scan and print several of the devotionals to take with me on vacation. Well, this new book solves that problem! A self-contained devotional of the 40 days of Psalms, with the devotionals built in, plus space for making notes. I love this series so much, that I bought this book so I can do it again next summer! Great investment in your devotional time!
