We have issues with our dog seeing out the front window and barking at everything and everyone going up and down our street. We had read on a pet forum that privacy window films do a good job of blocking/obscuring what is outside the window and can help stop barking dogs. We didn't want anything fancy or bringing a lot of attention to our window as we weren't placing the film on the entire window, but just along the bottom portion so our dog couldn't see through. We loved how easy it was to put up and enjoy the rainbow colors shining through when the sun hits right or a car drives by at night. But the view is still pretty much there and it hasn't slowed down our dog any. I don't regret the purchase as we are enjoying the film and have thought of other places in the house that could use it. Just wish it worked for our little terrier terror!

Exactly what I wanted. The argon gas leaked out of a upper window over my kitchen sink. I could still see out, but it was foggy. I might replace the window one day but until then this is a good solution for the appearance (not the insulation). There is a light, rainbow or prism effect. It is not as dark as a stained glass effect. Now since I still wanted to see out this worked for me. If you want a stained glass effect or complete privacy, you may not be happy. The film cast a lovely rainbow effect into the kitchen which I also like. There is a mesh pattern in the photos because the window has a screen in it. The last photo is of the wall opposite the window, showing the reflected rainbow effect.;

I bought the pretty rainbow one thinking it'd be enough to cover our bedroom window to not look at the neighbors garage and still let light in. This is NOT FOR PRIVACY. I could still see the neighbors garage through this. It's pretty but definitely more decorative. I bought the square designed one and you cannot see through it. Not really what I wanted but happy to not have ugly blinds up and still let light in! Easy to install but hard to get plastic layer off if you don't have long nails. Took me a few minutes to get a corner apart. I did one window and don't really have enough to do pur front door.

Still kind of see through depending where you put it and how much privacy you want. It does the job but it comes off to easily. The color when the sun shines through is really cool. It is very easy to install but not on cold windows.

it only added a slight bit of privacy. it is still very see thru. other than that i do live the design and how it shimmers different colors into my shower and was very easy to install and is holding up great.

Of all places I put this on my sunroof in my car, but it went on beautifully! It doesn’t have as much shimmer as I hoped but for the price it still turned out beautifully!

Looks really nice on the windows of my garage door. It was more see-through than I thought it would be when the light is on inside the garage. I wouldn’t recommend it for a window where you need personal privacy...

This window film looks really nice when installed, but was a little difficult to get installed. Had to keep re-adjusting it.
