Strong, indestructable clips with countless uses
I keep buying more of these! They don’t get moldy like wooden clothespins, and the springs don’t break after years of weather and constant use. They are strong enough to hold clothes on the line in crazy Arizona desert winds, which is really saying something. Have had my first bag for 3+ years, and none have broken, clipping action is as strong as ever. (I have bad arthritis in my hands but don’t have trouble opening them, yet they still hold things very securely.) I use on clothesline or to secure wet shirts on metal hangers, which lets me dry more clothes at a time on the line. Also use to secure even heavy towels to drying rack (again bc of wind). I use when camping to clip tarps over my truck/around campsite, use to clip shade cloth/frost cloth around plants, in the house to close bags of chips and dry goods in kitchen, to clip a towel at backdoor for drying dogs’ feet, and keep a few in the truck for clipping things to the sun shades and for whatever else comes up. I’ve done prolonged camping in the desert (in intense wind, no trees for shade, scorching sun and freezing temps) and consider these combined with aluminet tarps the absolute essentials for shade and warmth. Great quality product with countless uses.

2+ Years On
I bought these clothespins in Sept. of 2019 and love them. We get a fair amount of wind here, but these pins hold the heaviest laundry on the line. I keep them in a box outside on the porch and have no issues with rust or corrosion. I have arthritis in my hands and, while these pins offer more resistance to open than wooden ones, I have no problem. I also keep a couple with my sous vide machine to hold the reusable bag to the side of the water container. Actually, I find lots of non-laundry uses for them and highly recommend them.

My new favorite laundry pegs (of the ones available to me in the U.S.)
These laundry pegs are very strong and I can't see how they could possibly break easily. They held California king size heavy flannel sheets in a strong wind, and Levi jeans in the same wind. They have a very firm grip and do not use a coil spring. Coil springs usually allow the peg to twist and come apart. Although I would prefer to have Hegs Pegs, I cannot get them here, in the U.S. This however, is a very good laundry peg, "clothes pin". I would recommend them if you are looking for something with a firm grip and very intentional construction. I will re-post if they are not durable. My pegs are not left outside on the line, so they should last me several years.

Both better and worse than wooden clothespins
I use these for hanging out laundry. I haven't decided yet whether I prefer them to wooden clothespins.Positives:They are sturdy and strong. Once they are on they hold laundry securely. They never slip sideways, they do not fall apart. They do not leave marks on laundry, as wooden pins are likely to do as they age. I've had them 2 months and I store them outside; they have not rusted so far.Negatives:The spring is very strong and it takes more effort to open them than it does to open wooden ones. This causes more difficulty in winter when I am wearing gloves than it does in summer. The plastic clip part has to be positioned exactly over the laundry; otherwise the clip slips on the line. These two things mean it takes longer to hang out laundry using these clips than it does using wooden clips. It also takes longer to take laundry down because the clips tend to hook on the line and have to be removed rather precisely.

these actually work for drying clothes outdoors
I have only had these a couple months, so I can't comment on how long these will last, but they do appear to be very well made. They also work very well. The problem I have found with most of the newer cloths pins, is the spring is not strong enough to hold wet jeans on the line or to hold up in windy conditions. THESE CLOTHES PINS DO BOTH! This product is a great value, as its well made and does what its suppose to.

Hard to quickly get them in that ‘sweet spot’.
Construction of these pins are great.Concept of having them made of something other than wood or plastic is wonderful. However:As with any clothespin, a person should be able to grab them and put them on the clothesline over the clothes in a timely and smooth fashion without any forethought as to their placement. With these pins - in order to get them situated on the plastic ‘grabbing’ part so they’re at they’re most effective (especially on windy days) I have to take three x’s as long to make sure they’re in that sweet spot. If you’re not careful and randomly put them up you’re going to end up with the clothesline seated in that empty area of the clip by the spring and will, unfortunately, find your clothes scooting up and down the line and not staying put.I’ve hung my clothes out since I was old enough to help my mother and my maternal grandmother at an early age. I SO enjoy the benefits of fresh laundry all year round in Ohio. I hang mine out 95% of the year and I need pins that are quick and easy to use.I had SUCH high hopes for these guys. I’m glad I waited to see how they worked out before throwing away my other pins and ordering another bunch.

Springs are too weak
I selected clothespins with the rubber grips to protect the clothing. I am pleased with that aspect, but the spring in the pins is too weak, causing them to twist when clipped on the clothesline. I’m afraid the pins will come apart for this reason...but at least they won’t rust. Very disappointing.
