Product is good.
These strings are really good. Downside. If you don't pay for delivery you take pot luck on how long Amazon take to drop stuff off on your doorstep. First order, 2 days. 2nd order, 5 days. No consistency. Shouldn't have said that should I?

Pure Magic
These sound phenomenal on my les paul. I thought they may be a little darker sounding than nickel wounds on an already dark sounding les paul.. but I was wrong. They're perfect, great feel, great tone, they record well, no buzz. 100%

Great value
Great sound and playability. Good value but only been using for a month so can’t speak for durability yet. No reason to doubt that they won’t last as long as other more expensive brands Have ordered another set.

Excellent flat wound strings
This is the first time I've used Thomastik strings after they were recommended to me. Don't think I'll be using anything else now.

Two Strings Broke Within Minutes
Put these strings on my guitar and was fine tuning them when the low E string suddenly snaps. I'm pretty adventurous with guitar strings and like trying different types and brands, this is the first time I've had a brand new string snap as it is being fitted. As I began to surrender to the realisation that I would have to remove my brand new flatwounds before I even had a chance to play a single chord, I sadly began to detune the strings only for the high E string to snap too. I was so looking forward to using these but now I feel something akin to actual heartbreak. Now my guitar is sitting there in the corner, naked and vulnerable. I immediately ordered the D'Darrio Chromes. I put them on a guitar 5 years ago and they are still good. I would avoid these.

These are expensive strings, but they are beautifully made. (Most strings are much of a muchness - these are not). Strong, clear but warm and soft tone. I use them on a strat in my role as rhythm guitarist in a blues outfit, and they suit me fine. Well packaged and quickly delivered.

Feel great, sound great, but break easily.
I've had to two packs of these, each lasted about 6 weeks before the g and e strings both unwound and snapped beyond the nut. Not even at the peg. Very poor if you want longevity. However, they feel incredible and sound amazing. A joy to play, but weaker than spider webs. Worth a try if you can afford them. Just be aware that they are massively overpriced for their pathetic lifespan.
