I use this to do finger prints for NFA items and it works as intended.

Nice product - Easy to use
Works well. The product is easy to use and easy to remove with just a paper towel. I do wish I had purchased a larger size pad, since this one is almost too small to completely roll your finger pad. Tip: you don't need much ink, in fact less is more for this product. Too much ink will blur the print.All my cards (50 of them) passed the FBI background check, so I feel this product will satisfy your needs.

Great inkless pad
Use this for notaries all the time. Will always buy more and they last a long time

Excellent ink, but too small for anything other than a single finger/thumb and first phalange
I wish they had a meaningful description, i.e. sizes of the pad. Otherwise the ink pad itself and the quality of the ink is excellent. If you only need a print of a single finger/thumb without the required 6 mm past the joint you will love this pad. But due to the small size and the height of the surrounding frame (see the pics) it is impossible to get the second phalange inked (to get the crease of the first joint visible). If you press too hard to bend the finger/thumb over the frame to try to ink it, then the ink gets between the fingerprint ridges and the print comes out smudged. You can get creative and try to ink the second phalange, while having the first one hanging outside, but then you are taking too much time and it requires a lot of concentration. Forget about slap prints - properly inking 4 fingers takes too much time and the first one is almost dry by the time you are done with the 4th.PROS: Excellent ink and the pad surface is just rightCONS: Too small. I wish they made those in 3x5 inches - would have been just slightly larger, but a lot more useful.SUMMARY: I still think it is a good product and will still use it for single prints for ID cards, but will continue using my desktop set for the FBI cards. If not for the small size this pad would have been ideal for doing full set on the go.

I like the product, but "inkless" ... really?
I use these pads for notary public work. The product works fine. Signers can rub the ink off of their fingers, but I still provide a paper towel since some people feel awkward having any sort of ink on their skin. I think calling it "inkless" is a bit misleading -- this is still ink. I'm open to the vendor's explanation about the claim to be "inkless."I'll buy it again, when I need to.
