Easy baking lovely flavours. Add fruits or chocolate. Baking times are exact.

Best ever!
Just delicious, even better when you add additional preserved ginger (not candied covered with sugar but the wet stuff in jars from most supermarkets in syrup) plus some of the syrup too ... I reduce the water slightly when I do that.Very consistent bake; moist , slight tang from the ginger ... more if you add the preserved, which is great.

Easy ginger cake
Used this as seems impossible to get our favourite waitrose Christmas ginger pudding, same every year, but this made a good substitute with the addition of some diced stem ginger and topped with golden syrup. Simplicity itself to make. Will definitely be using it again, but may not recommend it to friends as it would give away “my” secret recipe 🙃
