Office Desk Chair Mat for Hard Wood Floor Thick PVC Matte 48" x 36",Transparent Sturdy Chair Mat

Well, i bought two of these pieces of crap. so I am out a few bucks, but maybe i can save you some. look at the pictures above. The mats are so thin, they roll up under the wheels of my rolling chair, and create a nice surface to trip over. I had considered taping the mats down with double sided tape, but if the product was made correctly, one wouldn't need to do that. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT! look for a thicker plastic that lies flat. I can't think of a single use for this product accept maybe to use it to wrap fish entrails in, and then toss it all in the garbage!!!!

Matt came tightly rolled up, back rolled it and by the next day it was laying flat. I have a large desk and when laying it length wise there was enough room for the chair but not quite wide enough to move around a bit on it. Flipped it the opposite way and surprisingly there is plenty of room. Just have to figure it out by each person and area you want it in. Matt is clear and you can easily see the floor pattern under it. It does NOT shift around which is a big plus. I don't have to worry about a piece of dirt working its way under it and scratching my floors. Very satisfied with this purchase.

What is received was a thin carpet protector, not a true chair mat. It has zero firmness, and while I have it on a hardwood floor, the chair is still hard to roll across it. This would not work on a carpet floor with a rolling share. The title does mention hard wood floors, but the description mentions carpet. So, in short, for a rolling chair this will only work on hard wood. If one wants to protect a section of carpet, then realize this will give and curve, and bunch up with the carpet (or other soft surface). I did have trouble deciding between one, two, or three stars. The product picture shown is not the correct firmness, it's like folding over a shower curtain, not so uniform plastic they show. The only reason I'm giving this two stars is because I'm keeping it for use on my hardwood floor.

I would not purchase a chairmat through the mail ever again. This thing came tightly rolled and in spite of having heavy boxes on the edges to hold it down, I can not get it to lie flat. The mat is rather thin too. Just not worth the hassle constantly fighting with this thing curling up on the edge. Junk.

I got this in preparation for my new hardwood floor. I like my office chair but don't want to damage my new floor. This solves my problem. Very happy with the purchase

We purchased two of these to put under our birds' cage to protect the carpet in our rental from imprints in the carpet from the wheels on the cage as well and any droppings from the birds or food. They're very nice quality and durable, however they are a bit curved fresh out of the box, so keep that in mind!

Flatten quickly,size was good. Thinner than expected,but serves the purpose!

This thing does its job without any issues. It arrives rolled up, so I recommend laying heavy items like books on each corner, and after a couple of days it will lay flat on its own. I wish it was just a bit larger as I feel like I roll onto my floors frequently when scooting back to get up. There isn't any extra room in the front to move it back any further, it's just simply a bit small. Nonetheless, it works just fine and I'd recommend it based on the price.
