Aosom Elite II Pet Dog Bike Bicycle Trailer Stroller Jogger w/ Suspension - Red

My 60lb golden retriever mix blew out both of her cruciate (ACL in humans) ligaments on her back legs, and so we bought this stroller so she could still go on walks with the family. I chose this one because it had brakes (which are very important when loading the dog) and a pivoting front wheel, which many models didn't offer. It also has a leash inside to keep the dog secure and prevent them from hopping out.The positives:-The stroller is the perfect size for my dog. She can lie down comfortably and sit up and stick her head out of the top opening.- The stroller seems sturdy.- It pushes easily. It rolls easily over grass, gravel, and uneven pavement, and I had no problems hopping it over curbs.- The handlebar is at a comfortable height for me (5'4") and my husband (6'3") and adjusts easily when we trade off pushing. It's comfortably padded.- The ride is smooth and comfortable for the dog.- Loading the dog inside through the back opening is easy. For mobile dogs, they can hop right in. For dogs like mine, there's enough room to lift her inside. We've also taken her out through the front opening.That said, there are some drawbacks:- The directions for assembly are TERRIBLE, badly translated from another language. We found an assembly video online for another model, and more or less worked on trial-and-error until we figured it out. It took us about a half an hour to put together.- The top bar which is supposed to affix horizontally beneath the canopy between the back supports will not fit no matter what we do. The fabric of the canopy simply won't stretch that wide. Fortunately, it doesn't seem necessary because the handlebars hold the supports in position.- The stroller is back-heavy when a dog is inside, and would tip over backwards if we let go of the handlebars. We attached a 15lb weight to the front and that fixed the problem.- The brake line dangles down, almost dragging on the ground below the stroller unless you tuck it behind the handlebars before clipping them in place. A zip tie fixed that problem.- There is a mysterious short, square post with sharp edges at the center bottom of the back opening, where its easiest to load the dog. We've put a cap over it to prevent the dog from being scratched/cut, but you need to be careful of it until you address it.- This thing is very large when folded down, and it doesn't fit in the back of our SUV unless we take off the front wheel, which is a bit of a pain.- It's heavy. I probably could manage it to lift it into the car, but it would be a strain. People who don't have a lot of upper-body strength should be aware.- The interior cushion is made of a very slick nylon. The first time we took it out, the dog was constantly slipping. We remedied this by putting in our own cushion.- The brake does not make the stroller immobile. It's a friction brake which will slow it (great for hills!) but it does not lock the wheel in place.All in all, I'm satisfied with my purchase. The drawbacks are easily remedied. The most important thing for me is that my dog is happy again to be able to go out on walks with her people.

This would work fine as a jogger but there is a LOT of play in the handlebar. Meaning you can't use the handlebar to bring it up on two wheels to get it over curbs or to turn it if you have the front wheel locked. Not without feeling like you are going to break it. At least the swivel lock on the front wheel is removable with a screwdriver so the cart can turn freely.As for using this as a bike trailer which was my intended purpose, DO NOT USE IT STOCK. I'm serious. It's a bad idea to use this for more than a trip down the block as a bike trailer without a little modification. The swing arm is attached to the frame with two hand-clip bolts that are not tight enough to prevent the parts moving against eachother. If you use these bolts you will get speed wobbles that will eventually start bending the bracket in the frame. The wobbling will just get worse and worse until it either breaks or you replace the clip bolts with real hardware that you tighten down as tight as you can get it. After putting in bolts and tightening them way down this product improved immeasurably as a bike trailer. It's still nothing I would take on a bike tour but it's okay for 10 mile rides after that modification.Other things that are bad about this trailer:1.) Many of the bolts on this product will come loose out of the box! Check them all before use. Especially ones having to do with the brakes.2.) Even after you tighten on the brake brackets and adjust the brake cables the stopping power is very weak.3.) They did not reverse thread one of the brake bars so unless you get some pliers and really yerf it down it will eventually screw itself off through regular use.4.) The independent axle design means the wheels can never be perfectly aligned. This only really matters at bicycle speeds but it will lead to some speed wobbles. It did okay at 10-15mph.5.) The inside had a reinforced base but they didn't anchor it to all for edges of the frame like they easily could have and that means that it really dips way down along one of the edges. Uncomfortable for the dog.6.) The pad that comes with it will not stay secure with the tiny amount of velcro it comes with,7.) Most bike pumps are incapable of inflating the front wheel because of it's size and valve/spoke/hub design.8.) they give you a bolt/nut to secure the top bar but it's incredibly annoying to install because of how tight the canopy is right where the nut needs to go. It's best to take the extra clip bolts from the swing arm that you should have replaced and use one of those.Three stars because if you're just using it as a jogger and you don't need to lift the front wheel for curbs or other obstacles then it should work fine. Just about every other niche will be poorly filled by this cheap thing.

The media could not be loaded.  It took me a little over a year to come to the conclusion that i needed to buy this and i'm just a little bit sorry i waited so long. I have a 7lbs Yorkie/Shih Tzu and an 18lbs Bischon mix and they both fit comfortably enough that we could add another dog with similar weight. We use this as a bike attachment and it's simple enough to attach. The bed of the trailer has padding but for extra cushion we added their blanket, which also helped keep them warm as we took them on a ride over the Bay Bridge in San Francisco. Inside of the trailer we also put their travel bag with their on-the-go necessities. The side pockets were great for bringing along small tools we may need to fix any small issues that could happen. The front and top cover enclosures have great protection from the sun, rain, and flying debris, but the side and back mesh have no cover protection, which is good for air circulation and making sure it's not totally sealed, but bad for the sides when it rains because water can get in. I rated four stars mainly because of the included instructions... it took us a lot longer than it should have because the directions were in English but as if the person who wrote it had a very difficult time translating. A lot of the process took a lot of guess work as the instruction photos were not clear and in black and white. Overall, i'm glad we bought this, the price was right, and this fits our family perfectly!
